All About HydraFacials

All About HydraFacials

There are different types of facials to address specific skin problems like acne, dry skin, or rosacea. And even if your complexion is clear and healthy, regular facials can help you keep your skin looking youthful and fresh, especially as you age.

At Ashburn Laser & Skincare Clinic, our medical director, Dr. Nasrin Ejtemaee, and master esthetician Massie Zekri offer a range of facials and skin care treatments from two convenient locations in Ashburn and McLean, Virginia.

What is a HydraFacial®?

HydraFacial is a powerful one-stop shop for your complexion. It combines the exfoliation and skin regeneration properties of a microdermabrasion treatment, with hydration through a topical moisture serum infusion.

Hydrafacials remove the dead skin cells that clog your pores and dull your complexion, then seal in moisture for healthier, glowing skin.

The three stages of a HydraFacial include:

The HydraFacial is noninvasive, so you don’t have to worry about any downtime or recovery. A typical appointment is under an hour, so you can fit it in on your lunch break, after work, between errands, or before a big event and not have to worry about red, blotchy skin or other side effects.

The HydraFacial consists of a wand that resurfaces your skin and peels away the surface layer of dead skin cells to clear out your pores. As part of the deep exfoliation process, we use suction to clear oil and dead skin cells from your pores.

Once we have exfoliated and resurfaced your skin, we apply a topical serum infusion to pack in the moisture and give your skin a smooth finish.

What does a HydraFacial treat?

Deep cleansing and hydration are the key to treating many of the most common skin problems, so HydraFacials address a number of issues including:

A HydraFacial is like a combination of several skin care treatments in one, so it can work for all skin types in just a 30-minute session.

Is HydraFacial right for me?

Your skin is as unique as you are, so we provide a comprehensive evaluation of your complexion and your skin care routine to determine the best treatments for you. Like any cosmetic treatment, HydraFacials should be performed by a skilled and licensed esthetician to ensure the best results.
